Indoor gardening with limited space

About

This site has my thoughts and notes on gardening with limited indoor space. I recently moved to a small studio apartment in May 2021 and decided this was a good time to spend more time on gardening.

My apartment is sunny with south-facing windows so it gets a pretty good amount of sunlight throughout the day, especially during the summer months.

I've also set up a small garden on a shelf in the kitchen area with a 300W LED grow light that I run 12-18 hours a day. Here it is lighting up some microgreens, pepper plants, onions, a mint plant, and some beans I decided to try growing for fun.

I started spending a lot more time gardening simply because it's peaceful and fun. It wasn't until recently that I started regrowing vegetables like leeks and celery from roots, rather than throwing them out.

I've also automated the watering process for the majority of my plants so that they don't need to be maintained constantly.

This site is constantly under construction. More updates will come soon!
